Use time rounding

Sandtime.io can present reported time in rounded intervals without changing the underlying activity history.

Where to turn it on

Open Settings > Time tracking > Rounding.

What you can control

  • whether time is rounded,
  • whether rounding goes to the nearest interval, always up, or always down,
  • which interval should be used, such as 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or a custom number of minutes.

What rounding affects

Rounded values can be reflected in places such as the dashboard, timesheets, and reports. This is useful when you need cleaner accounting output while still keeping the original activity data in Sandtime.io.

Recommendation

Agree on the rounding policy at the organization level before billing or payroll depends on it. That avoids confusion later.
