What happens after you sign up

Confirm your email address
Continue with email and Sandtime.io sends you a sign-in link and a code, so there is no password to create. Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, and Apple sign you straight in.
Land in your own organization
Sandtime.io creates your organization with you as its Administrator, three starter reports, and a welcome checklist on the Dashboard. Name it under Settings > Organization.
Invite the team and track the first hour
Open Settings > Organization > Members and select Invite members. Nobody needs an account first. Then start the timer or fill in this week's timesheet.
What the free plan includes

Timers and timesheets
Start a one-click timer or fill in a weekly timesheet, and pick up on any device where you left off.
Approvals and locking
Members submit their week, a manager approves it from the app or the email, and past periods lock.

Rates in multiple currencies

Export or delete at any time
Administrators download the whole organization from Settings, or delete it for good, without opening a support ticket.
Questions before you sign up
Is Sandtime.io really free?
Yes. Tracking, timesheets, approvals, and reports are free for unlimited users, with no per-seat fees and no trial that runs out. Optional premium tiers are planned for later, and the free plan will remain free. Registered nonprofits can ask for a custom offer. See what each plan includes.
Do I need a credit card?
No. Signing up takes an email address or a Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, or Apple account, and there is no payment step at all.
Can I invite my whole team?
Yes, there is no limit on members. Open Settings > Organization > Members and select Invite members. Invited people get an email with a join link and do not need an account first. Each member is a User, a Project Administrator, or an Administrator. Read the invitation guide.
Can I import or export data?
Exporting, yes: reports and timesheets export to Excel and CSV, and Administrators can download the whole organization with Export data under Settings > Organization. There is no automatic importer yet, so bring earlier hours in through the weekly timesheet or the REST API.
What if I already use Clockify or Toggl?
Keep your current tool as the archive, try Sandtime.io on one project, and switch once a full reporting cycle matches. The comparisons with Clockify and Toggl Track cover the differences and the move step by step.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. As the Administrator, you can remove the organization and everything in it under Settings > Organization > Delete organization, and you can delete any member's account from Members. Deletion cannot be undone, so export first. Backup copies expire after 14 days. Read how deletion works.
