Can I add more than one line item?
This one takes a single line with a quantity and a unit price, which covers most hourly and fixed-fee invoices. If you need several lines on one invoice, the downloadable invoice template has room for them and totals each column for you.
Is my invoice saved anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser and nothing is stored, so the draft is gone once you close the tab. Print it or save it as PDF before you leave the page.
How is the tax calculated?
The tax rate is applied as a percentage of the subtotal, and the total is the subtotal plus that amount. A rate of 0 leaves the total equal to the subtotal.
Can I invoice in a currency other than dollars?
Yes. Pick the currency in the form and the amounts are formatted for it, so the invoice reads the way a client in that currency expects.
Is this invoice legally compliant?
A quick draft is fine from a form. Advanced tax, accounting, or e-invoicing rules may need compliant software instead: Poland’s KSeF is one example. Check what your jurisdiction requires before sending.
