Pick a time

Choose a reference zone and time, set working hours, and add the zones your teammates are in.

This time falls outside working hours for at least one zone.

Plan meetings across time zones

The planner reads each zone’s real offset for the date you choose, so daylight saving changes are handled for you. Pick a time once and see who is inside working hours and who is starting a new day.

Scheduling is only half the problem. Sandtime.io then records the hours people work and rolls them into clear reports, so a distributed team keeps one accurate record.

Time zone questions

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Each offset is read from the date you pick rather than from a stored table, so a meeting set for a week when one country has changed its clocks and another has not shows the real difference.

What does the UTC offset mean?

It is the zone’s distance from UTC at that moment, written the way calendars write it: UTC+2 is two hours ahead, UTC-5:30 is five and a half hours behind.

Why does the difference change depending on the date?

Offsets move when clocks change, and countries do not change on the same date. For a few weeks each spring and autumn the usual gap between two places can be an hour out, which is why the date matters.

Is my meeting time saved?

Nothing is stored and nothing is sent anywhere. The conversion runs in your browser from the date and the zones you choose.
