Otherwise, counting starts on the next day in the selected direction. Weekends and public holidays are skipped. Zero business days returns the start date.

What counts as a business day?
A business day, or working day, is a weekday that is not a public holiday - usually Monday to Friday. This calculator skips Saturdays, Sundays, and the selected country’s 2026 public holidays.
Does the calculator count the start date?
Yes, by default. With "Include start date" checked, the start date counts as day 1 if it is a working day. Uncheck it to start counting from the next day when going forward or the previous day when going backward. Weekends and public holidays are always skipped. Zero business days returns the start date.

The 2026 public holidays for the country you select. Pick the country whose calendar applies to your deadline, or None to count weekdays only.
