How the time card calculator works
For each day it converts your clock-in and clock-out times to minutes, removes the unpaid break, and turns the result into decimal hours. The weekly total adds every day, then splits anything above your overtime threshold into overtime hours paid at time-and-a-half.

Time card questions
How do I enter a night shift that ends the next morning?
Enter the clock-out time as usual. An end time earlier than the start is read as a shift that runs past midnight, so 22:00 to 06:00 counts as eight hours rather than a negative day.
Are breaks subtracted from the total?
Only the unpaid break you enter for that day. The minutes are subtracted from the shift before the daily total, so a paid break is entered as zero.
How is overtime calculated?
Everything above the weekly overtime threshold you set, which starts at 40 hours. Those hours are paid at time-and-a-half, and the rest at the plain hourly rate.
Is my time card data stored?
Nothing is sent anywhere. The calculation runs in your browser, with no signup and no account, so the times disappear when you close the tab. That also means the week is not saved for you.
