Sandtime.io Integrations

Sandtime.io connects directly to Slack, to your own scripts through the REST API, and to AI assistants such as Claude Code and Codex through the MCP server, and it exports reports as CSV or Excel for everything else. There are no built-in integrations with Asana, Jira, QuickBooks, Xero, Zapier, or calendar apps.

What Sandtime.io connects to

Slack

Start, stop, and check timers with /start-tracking, /stop-tracking, and /time-tracking without leaving the channel. Add it from Settings > Integrations > Slack.

REST API

Script reports and exports or feed your own internal tools from cURL or any HTTP client, with an API key from Settings > Integrations > API and a public OpenAPI schema.

MCP server for AI assistants

Claude Code, Codex, and other MCP clients create, review, and report on time entries when you ask in plain language.

CSV and Excel export

Export any report as CSV or Excel, with billable and non-billable hours split per project and currency, and import it into QuickBooks, Xero, or a spreadsheet.

What is not built in

Asana, Jira, QuickBooks, Xero, Zapier, Google Calendar, and Outlook have no direct connection. Teams link them through the REST API or a CSV or Excel export.

Who uses Sandtime.io integrations

  • Teams that run their day in Slack
  • Developers scripting reports against the REST API
  • People who log time by telling an AI assistant what they did
  • Finance teams importing billable hours into an accounting tool

Integration questions

Does Sandtime.io integrate with Asana or Jira?

No. There is no direct Asana or Jira integration. Teams that want hours next to their tasks connect the two through the REST API, or keep planning in their project tool and track time in Sandtime.io.

Can I send hours to QuickBooks?

Not directly. Export the report as CSV or Excel, with billable and non-billable hours split per project, and import it into QuickBooks or another accounting tool.

Who sets up an integration?

Anyone in the organization can add Sandtime.io to Slack from Settings > Integrations > Slack, and each person links their Slack account the first time they use a command. API keys for the REST API and the MCP server are created in Settings > Integrations too.

Do integrations cost extra?

No. Slack, the REST API, the MCP server, and CSV or Excel export are free for unlimited users.
