Overlap notifications and entries that spill into the next day

Sandtime.io warns about overlapping activities because they can distort reported time.

Disable overlap notifications

Open Settings > Notifications and find the Overlap detected row. Email and dashboard alerts have their own checkboxes, so you can stop the emails and still see overlaps on your dashboard.

Keep in mind that silencing the warning does not remove the overlap itself. It only changes the notification behavior.

Why an entry can extend into the next day

Entries follow their start and end times. If the selected duration or end time pushes work past midnight, the entry can naturally continue into the next day.

There is no separate "do not move to the next day" switch for that behavior. If you want to avoid the spillover, shorten the duration or adjust the time range manually.
