Weekly Goal
The weekly goal is the target number of hours Sandtime.io expects you to log in a given week. It appears as a progress bar on the dashboard, showing how much of your goal you have reached so far - for example, "32h of 40h".
How It Is Calculated
The weekly goal is not a number you type directly. It is derived automatically from the core hours setting in your account - the work start time and work end time you configure for each working day. Sandtime.io multiplies that daily span by five working days to produce the weekly goal.
For example, if your core hours run from 09:00 to 17:00, the daily goal is 8 hours and the weekly goal is 40 hours.
Daily and Monthly Goals
The same core hours setting drives all three time targets:
- Daily goal - the span between your configured start and end time
- Weekly goal - daily goal multiplied by 5 working days
- Monthly goal - daily goal multiplied by the number of working days in the current month
Changing your core hours updates all three goals at once.
How to Change It
Go to Settings > Time tracking > Core hours and adjust your work start and end times. The weekly goal recalculates immediately.
See How to set your weekly goal for step-by-step instructions.
Weekends
By default, weekends are not included in the weekly goal calculation. If your schedule includes weekend days, see Including weekends in your worktime.
