Both tables cover the thirteen mandatory national holidays in Article 234 of the Labor Code. Carnival Tuesday and municipal holidays under Article 235 are excluded. Good Friday may be observed on another locally meaningful Easter date. Weekend holidays stay on their calendar dates; no general Monday substitution is assumed. Local and contractual exceptions can change a particular workplace’s total.
